Physical fitness was not my forte. However, my body was not in shape with a pot belly, back pain & lack of energy at the age of 36. These were some signs of an already degraded health. Making a comeback as well as becoming physically fit was not just an option but key to my holistic well-being. I had been an athlete all through my school and college. But when I started my job, sitting for long hours left me with weight gain and PCOD. I did not see much impact until I got married and started planning for a kid. I was gaining a lot of weight and was in the obese category. My Gynecologist recommended that I reduce weight if I had to conceive. That is when my journey towards fitness started. It was a fine balance of all six pillars of optimal health. No fad diets or heavy exercises but working on the root cause. Few years from then I conceived naturally without any medications and delivered naturally a healthy baby.
